First Rehearsal News

What a great start to the new SSC year. We welcomed 20 new members from auditions, and had a wonderful turnout for the reception, followed by the men starting to learn the Faust Symphony. (If you know anyone else you think should audition, have them contact Janet ASAP.)

Next week, women will begin working on music that is in so far. For those who were not able to join us, please pick up your music on Tuesday. If you did pick up music, there will not be new music this week, so you get a break.

Dues: please remember dues are $85.00 for the year. Please see our Treasurers as soon as possible so we can pay our bills.

Seating: Our President Extraordinaire is preparing a seating plan that will take into account all those details such as members who like to sit near strong readers, etc., and will have it out as soon as possible.

Illnesses: Please use common sense, especially this year with the predicted influenza arrival. While we don't want Nikki conducting to an empty room, if you are really ill, please help your fellow singers and stay home.
